University of Wisconsin Arboretum

Arboretum's 1,260 acres of land feature an array of distinct ecological communities,
several horticultural collections, effigy mounds, historic artifacts, a visitor center,
and more than 20 miles of trails. Open year-round, it is a wonderful place for hiking,
biking, and cross-country skiing. Check this site for extensive information about places
of interest, a schedule of events, and educational activities.

The Vilas Zoo

The Henry Vilas Zoo (and
fanciful playground), free and open to the public year-round, is a magical destination for

historic Baraboo's downtown, you may visit the restored Al Ringling Theater and stop by

in the midst of scenic farmland, Mount Horeb is known for the wooden trolls on its main
street. Blue Mound State Park and Brigham County Park are close by, both offering
