Take the
appropriate exit to Highway 151 going (southwest) toward the State
Capitol. You will then be on East Washington Avenue. Proceed toward
the Capitol until First Street. Turn right onto First Street and
continue to its end at Johnson Street. Turn left onto Johnson which
will eventually curve to the right and become Gorham Street. Continue
down Gorham Street, working your way into the left lane, until you
reach us at 315 West Gorham, immediately after crossing State Street.

From
the Southeast
(Chicago, Beloit, Janesville) - via Interstate 90 (Exit to Hwy. 12
& 18 West {left exit} to Hwy. 151 North)
From the South (Stoughton, McFarland) - via
Highway 151 (To Hwy. 12 & 18 West to Hwy. 151 North)
From the South (Monroe) - via Highway 69 (To 151 North)
From the Southwest (Dubuque, Platteville,
Dodgeville) - via Highways 18 & 151
Take the
John Nolen exit going north toward the State Capitol. Follow John
Nolen around Lake Monona. The second stoplight across the causeway is
Broom Street. Turn left, and follow Broom Street to the fourth set of
stoplights. Turn right onto East Johnson (a one-way street) and
gradually work your way into the left lane. Go one block after turning
onto East Johnson to the State Street & Henry Street intersection.
At State and Henry, make a "soft" left onto Henry Street (do
not turn sharply onto State Street, as private vehicles are
prohibited). Proceed one block on Henry Street and turn left on Gorham
Street. The Canterbury Inn Apartments are located at 315 Gorham Street, just on your left
after you cross State Street.

From
the West
(Spring Green, Mazomanie, Black Earth) - via Highway 14
From the Northwest (Baraboo, Sauk City) - via
Highway 12
Take the
University Avenue exit into Middleton and continue east on University
Avenue for six miles to where it divides and becomes Campus Drive.
Continue on Campus Drive, which becomes Johnson Street (a one-way
street). Continue on Johnson Street to the State Street & Henry
Street intersection (you will see Broom Street as the last cross
street just before State and Henry). At State and Henry, make a
"soft" left turn onto Henry Street (do not turn sharply onto
State Street, as private vehicles are prohibited). Proceed one block
on Henry Street and turn left on Gorham Street. The Canterbury Inn
Apartments are located
at 315 Gorham Street, just on your left after you cross State Street.

Coming From the Dane County Regional Airport?
Exit the airport lot to International Lane. Turn left at the end of International Lane
onto Packers Avenue (following signs for the State Capitol/University of Wisconsin).
Packers Avenue will eventually curve to the right and become Gorham Street (a one-way
street). Follow Gorham approximately 2 miles to the Canterbury Inn
Apartments at 315 West Gorham Street, on
the left-hand side immediately after crossing State Street.

to the State Street/Capitol Ramp
by CAR
To drive from the Inn entrance to the State Street/Capitol parking ramp, continue along
in the left lane of Gorham Street for 1 1/2 blocks until it curves left, becoming Bassett
Street.
At the first intersection, turn left onto Johnson Street. Continue on Johnson Street,
in the right-hand lane, for 3 blocks. At the intersection of Johnson and Carroll Streets,
turn right onto Carroll. Drive 1/2 block to the parking ramp entrance on the right-hand
side.
Once inside the ramp, bear right so as to park on the Johnson Street side of the
building. Exit the ramp using the stairwell on Johnson Street.
From the State Street/Capitol Ramp
to Canterbury Inn Apartments
by FOOT
To reach Canterbury Inn
Apartments by foot from the State Street/Capitol parking ramp, walk along
Johnson Street for 1/2 block (headed against vehicular traffic) to State Street. Take a
right onto State Street and walk 1 block to the intersection of State and Gorham Streets.
Turn left onto Gorham and walk 1/2 block to the Inn entrance.
